Ever since 'Scars' came out, alot our members and others have had success in abyssea doing low-man groups, building lights/time extensions. Its very simple to build lights for time extensions and extend the run without worrying about zoning to use stones, as well as amber(gold chests) for NQ af feet, loot, pop items, etc.

Because these benefits go out to the entire alliance, we will be making a 2-6 person time extension pt that will grind out xp for the entire run. The priority for the members of this group will be based on jobs and whoever is avaliable and nothing else, as the group needs to enter as far before the main group enters as possible. Success is important, so we will put together the group with what is available, and if there is room for it with preferred jobs(for level up, etc).

The minimum is generally going to be one support mage(rdm preferred) and a DD(tanking and magic use preferred). The mage needs to do everything to support a fast paced group, and the DDs need to be able to tank the mobs, as well as get magic kills and/or stun if needed. Those roles will be filled and remain in the party for the duration of the run, however, anyone else(the other 4 members who can start) may have to switch back into the main alliance for NM kills. This party may need a full 6 members, but there is no guarantee it won't only need two.

Whoever is leading the group needs to make a judgement call and get the right jobs out and working asap, so do not be offended if you are not selected to go. The rest of the alliance needs as many people/jobs to kill NMs with as it can. Because of that, the TE group may also rejoin the alliance for extra firepower if needed.

The group also must be able to pop chests quickly and call out loot items to the rest of the group to make sure everyone can lot on what they need. It will also be possible to call out key items and have a member who needs to grab it run to the group, but it would have to be called out quickly and both parties in position to make it in time before it despawns. If that is impossible, one member should collect all the key items, unless another member within the group needs it to complete a set.
